This weekend is MACROCK – Mid-Atlantic Music Conference …ROCK! This is a completely independent music festival in Harrisonburg, VA. All funding and organization of the festival is volunteer based so no corporate influence / pay to play!
How does Frederick relate to MACROCK? – well it’s just two hours away, some of the Subversive Janitors were on the committee in past years (one of which is speaking at a panel this year – – – http://macrockva.org/panels/) and of course tons of Frederick bands have played in the past.

Blush Face – played the Squat March 26, 2017. playing at 6:10 on Friday at the Artful Dodger.
Grace Vonderkuhn – They’ve played Frederick 3 times in the past year! August 11 at Slayground, Nov 18 at Cafe Nola & March 9th at Guido’s. They are playing the Artful Dodger Saturday at 7:30.
